unverified first passenger service in 2003: Wikipedia gives 5 October 2003; the BBC (12 January 2004) reports Desiros already running Waterloo to Basingstoke and Alton; SWR's page says 2004, car length: Angel Trains gives 20.34 m a vehicle; Siemens' 2003 sheet gives the train as 81,600 mm and the car as '19.6 m with coupler, 19.7 m without' (labels apparently swapped), doors: Siemens puts them at one-third and two-thirds along each side; the number of leaves isn't stated in a source read, car height: not found
