Sources

How we source figures →

unverified car lengths: 24.026 m (driving cars) and 23.35 m (intermediate) from TfW's contract table for the three-car standard-class units; they match CAF's train lengths of 48,052 and 71,402 mm, height and width: not found, doors: TfW's contract table puts two doorways a side on each car, at the third points; the leaf type isn't stated in a source read, build years: not confirmed (Wikipedia, citing a TfW FOI reply that couldn't be opened, gives 2020 to 2026), engine output: Railway Gazette gives 390 kW; Wikipedia 375 kW, first class: Railway Gazette (2022) said 14 three-car units would have 16 first-class seats; TfW's 2026 guide calls them wider seats, so they may be declassified, owners: SMBC Leasing and Equitix, from a consultant's case study (Apex Rail)
